A Hero Turns 80

It’s official. My hero has turned 80. He never could leap tall buildings, run faster than a speeding bullet, or fly like a bird, but he never had to wear a silly-looking spandex suit either.
Most often you’ll find him in a suit and tie or slacks and a dress shirt. Sometimes you’ll spot him in overalls. He wears no S on his shirt, but he usually has a pocketful of pens, pencils, and a comb. But, none of that really matters because it’s not what he wears that has made him my hero.
My hero is my Dad–always has been. Here’s why:
